The G.A.S EC Fan controller uses a Voltage Signal (0.1v-10V) to control the speed of any Systemair EC Fan connected to it. It's ready to use straight out of the box, no programming or complicated set-up required. As the fans speed is controlled by a Voltage Signal, this controller produces absolutely no humming or buzzing when operating the fans at a low speed.

Once you've connected the EC Fan to the EC Fan Controller and turned them on, all you need to do is adjust the minimum fan speed with the left-hand dial and the desired temperature with the right-hand dial. The EC Fan Controller will then adjust the fans speed to achieve your desired temperature.

Using its 'Reactive Temperature Technology' program, if the temperature within the grow space suddenly increases, the fans speed will increase quickly. If the temperature gradually rises, the fans speed will slowly increase. This helps prevent sudden or drastic temperature changes within the grow space, leading to happier, healthier plants.

The EC Controller also records the Minimum & Maximum Temperatures; this can be displayed by turning the right-hand dial anti-clockwise until it stops.

The Temperature can be adjusted from C to F by turning it clockwise until it stops.

Unlike other fans and fan controllers available within the hydroponic market, the Systemair EC Fans and EC Fan Controllers will actually save you money, despite the initial cost.

So despite the Revolution Vector Fan & EC Fan Controller costing slightly more to purchase than other fan set-ups, anyone can see the benefits and long-term savings to be made.

Another way to look at it is like this; when a standard AC Fan is slowed down, it will still use the full power requirement to move the fans motor, despite the slower speed. However when an EC Fan is slowed down, the power is reduced too.
